Why Massage Therapy?
Getting injured is our worst fear. Injuries impair performance, delay training and conditioning, prolongs our recovery and can be costly to treat. Plus, over time, injuries take their toll on the body. When muscles are continually weak and overused, the odds of an injury increase and can become recurring. This may result in a permanent condition.
Massage not only concentrates on existing injuries but can also prevent injuries. Massage before conditioning helps to prevent injuries and should be administered after a warm-up session such as the infrared sauna. Massage can also help to prevent common injuries when administered after a training session, and helps the muscles return to a more relaxed state.
